Preschool Classes

All classes provide services that facilitate the development of the whole child (social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual) in a values-oriented environment that reflects nondenominational christian beliefs. Children will pray at each snack and meal and each class will do a devotional or a religion story, verse, song or activity each day.

Infants (lil' Angels)
We provide a loving and caring environment with the incentives for babies to work towards those many milestones they reach in that first year of life.

Toddlers (Lambs)
This program nurtures the child while teaching independence and social awareness. This program focuses on language experiences, social interactions, creative art experiences, music and movement, dramatic play, large motor skills, fine motor skills, sensory and discovery experiences, and much more. Teacher provides guidance and encouragement in them first friendships. Children will work on their independence developing the skills needs for eating, dressing, and toileting.

Preschoolers (Sheep 3's)
The youngest of our preschoolers will start to get a taste of a more structured schedule, which includes a school readiness portion of the day that touches on - math and science, literacy, art, and religion. We will provide activities that will lead to increased concentration. They will start to work on less parallel play and more interactive play with peers. We will work on language and expressing ourselves with the right statements and questions. Children will continue on self-help skills and be more independent in taking care of their own items. Children will be encouraged to make friendships with all children.

(Shepherds 4's)
The middle preschoolers work on more teacher directed activities along with continuing to learn through exploring. The school readiness portion of the day will still have our basics - math and science, literacy, art and religion, but will be more in-depth with the lessons and allowing the time for children to contribute to the learning with any questions and expressing their ideas. Children will be able to take care of their own personal belongings and help themselves in dressing and eating. Children will continue to work on building relationships with peers.

(Guardians 5's)
The oldest preschoolers who will be heading off to school the next fall will be focusing more on those academics that they will need for their school days to come. The school readiness portion of the day will still have our basics - math and science, literacy, art and religion, but will be more in-depth than the Shepherds children will be asked for input for the lesson and and asked to express their ideas. Children will be able to take care of their own personal belongings and helping others, as well as,  helping with clean up. Children will be able to build and maintain friendships with peers.
